Position: Group Product Manager
Location: Ahmedabad
Division : VAXXICARE
Educational Qualification: Pharmacy or science background (preferably with an MBA degree)
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience
Reports To : Senior Manager – Marketing/SBU Head
Supervises : None
Accountability: To ensure that each brand handled is self sustaining and contributes to the overall objective of the company in terms of market share and profits.
Level of responsibility: High
Area covered: Pan India
Dimension:
Annual Budgeted Sales of the SBU (OB – 11): Rs. 250 Mio – Rs. 3000 Mio
Annual Promotional Budget (OB – 11): Rs. 35 Mio – Rs. 315 Mio
Delegation of Responsibility: In the absence of the job holder, the responsibilities shall be referred to Senior Manager – Marketing/SBU Head.
Decisions made alone: Marketing activities & inputs planning
Decisions in consultation of superiors/ others:
1. New marketing activities
2. New product launch
3. Marketing communication
Decisions referred to higher authority:
1.Brand Plan preparation and overall strategy preparation
2.CME/Symposia Planning
3.Budgetary control and Brand related decisions like alteration of Pricing, and Trade Bonus
4.Alteration of TPs/MRPs and profitability decisions for brands

1.Managing & handling the brands assigned
2.Formulate and coordinate marketing activities to promote key brands
3.Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of established objectives & market characteristics.
4.Identify market growth opportunities and develop strategic brand planning, market analysis, tactical sales support & product management.
5.Accountable for launch of new products
6.Market share objective of the brand
